Gentle Yoga for Good Posture
In this demonstration, we will briefly look at what “good posture” means, and then practice some gentle yoga sequences to help improve posture, mobilize the spine and increase overall flexibility.
Miki Bousso is a Certified Yoga Instructor, Pilates Instructor and Yoga Therapist. She began her yoga practice over 20 years ago, and has trained in Vinyoga, Iyengar Yoga, Anusara Yoga and Stott Pilates. Later she became more interested in Yoga for Therapeutic Needs, so she trained as a Certified Yoga Therapist with Master Teacher Aadil Palkhivala. She is also a Clinical Ayurvedic Therapist (CAT). Miki teaches group classes, yoga, pilates and dance, in Los Altos, Santa Clara, Cupertino, and Mountain View. She teaches private yoga sessions for special therapeutic needs at her home studio.
